Creation of New Business Trends

Businesses do not run in a vacuum but in an environment that is dynamic and is being influenced either directly or indirectly by various factors. The influence of businesses' operation is a core factor that determines whether the business achieves its objectives. There are some instances where specific factors that influence businesses lead to the creation of the adoption of new business elements because of the unique characteristics which are sought to solve the issues created by changes or other factors. It is vital to note that the various business environment factors are made up of several outside forces and organizations, which create a unique set of opportunities or challenges for the businesses (Kemper, Hall & Ballantine, 2019). In connection to this, certain social and environmental issues create new business trends such as Greenwashing and ecofeminism, to mention a few.

There are some social elements and environmental forces which employ the basic (feminist) of creating equality between genders and the revaluation of the nonlinear and non –patriarchal structures. For instance, ecofeminism deals with the connections which exist between nature and women. It is produced by social and environmental elements that promote the world's viewing with holistic connections, respect of the world according to organic processes, not forgetting the merits of collaboration and intuition (Cross, 2018). More importantly, the social and environmental factors influencing businesses and at the same time commit to the awareness of the associations and the environment which are created between nature and women also play a critical role in developing new business trends which concur with the demands and perceptions of the clients modeled by the latest thoughts and views. Notably, social norms are also known to exert dominance over nature and women. Eventually leading to a view that creates an incomplete picture of the world.

On the other side, businesses also face issues that force them to cover up or gloss over scandalous info where the business creates a biased presentation of their facts. Indeed, there are various instances where a business seeks the opportunity of lying and paints itself with an excellent picture to the society that it is spending more money and time on practicing environmentally friendly acts but on the opposite it is not. The environment and society hold businesses liable for protecting the environment. On the other side, different social forces have companies accountable with social norms that they are supposed to take care of the environment (Phillips, 2019). A business that does not comply is painted negatively, which has several adverse impacts on the business. As a result, some of the businesses assume shortcuts. They indulge in deceitful acts such as advertising with gimmick intentions to mislead consumers who prefer to buy services and goods from those environmentally conscious brands, hence creating greenwashing business trends.

It can be argued that both environmental and social factors surrounding businesses create external pressure, which affects businesses in different ways with diverse magnitudes. Some of the core factors influencing and developing new business trends such as greenwashing and ecofeminism include new lifestyle, existing and emerging ethics, values, and attitudes towards human social life and the environment where the people survive. Notably, these aspects also influence where, how, what, and when people purchase the services or products from a specific business organization. More importantly, most of these elements are challenging to define, predict and measure because of their subjective nature. The other critical aspect to note is that these elements are creating new features that are continually changing as people and the world are moving through different life stages. However, peoples from other social circles and environments are of different ages. It is an aspect that creates a broad range of defying traditional interests and consumer profiles hence leading to the creation of new business trends across the globe.
